Unlike single-subject floral marbles, this piece presents a complete botanical scene rooted in a deep, rich plum-colored ground. Rising from this dark base is a dense, multi-species bouquet: vibrant purple asters with bright yellow centers crowd against textured clusters of white, thistle-like blooms. The floral arrangement is interwoven with verdant green stems and foliage, creating a sense of movement and life. Hernburg’s signature "soft" glass technique gives the scene a painterly quality, as if an Impressionist still life has been suspended in three dimensions.
