Wild Bloom 1-2/3"
The Object "Wild Bloom" acts as a miniature terrarium, capturing the chaotic beauty of an overgrown meadow. Unlike single-subject floral marbles, this piece presents a complete botanical scene rooted in a deep, rich plum-colored ground. Rising from this dark base is a dense, multi-species bouquet: vibrant purple asters with bright yellow centers crowd against textured clusters of white, thistle-like blooms. The floral arrangement is interwoven with verdant green stems and foliage, creating a sense of movement and life. Hernburg’s signature "soft" glass technique gives the scene a painterly quality, as if an Impressionist still life has been suspended in three dimensions.
The Artist Elena Hernburg is a distinguished glass artist living and working in Cetinje, Montenegro. While many artists focus on scale, Hernburg’s focus is on the intimacy of the object—creating intricate beads, pendants, and marbles defined by rich, finely detailed compositions. Her work is the result of years of refinement; every element is crafted by hand using proprietary lampwork techniques she has developed specifically to achieve superior clarity and depth. The result is a body of work that balances technical mastery with a touch of wonder.
